Using Group Policy with FAXCOM Suite for Windows

Integrating with Active Directory and other LDAP- compatible directory services enables FAXCOM Suite for Windows administrators to manage and control multiple fax services independently according to their network needs. Integration with an LDAP-compatible service involves the following:

  • Enabling the integration with the directory service.

  • Establishing policies (AD Group Policies or FAXCOM Policies) that allow users to send and receive faxes.

  • Configuring the FAXCOM Queues to perform directory service lookups to route incoming faxes.
