Advanced Fax Routing for Insurance
Biscom's Advanced Fax Routing (AFR) module provides an extensive set of features for processing and delivering received faxes.
Recently, a customer in the insurance industry needed a way to automatically deliver a received fax confirmation back to a select few of their customers. In certain cases their customers wanted the confirmation sent to them via fax, and in other cases email confirmations were requested.
Biscom was able to deliver a solution using the Advanced Fax Routing add-on to FAXCOM Suite for Windows. Advanced Fax Routing would identify the Caller-ID or TSI, and match that value to a value stored in a database. When a match is found, Advanced Fax Routing extracts the delivery destination, either a fax number or email address, and delivers the fax receipt confirmation to the sender.

Did you know that the full version of Adobe Acrobat Professional is no longer required to translate Acrobat PDF documents for outbound faxing? FAXCOM Server version 6.3 and above now uses an embedded rendering engine to convert PDF files to a faxable format.
