The Channel Manager is tasked with identifying and pursuing channel partners to promote Biscom's fax server and file transfer channel partner program is designed to enroll value added resellers and systems integrators and convert these partners into revenue generating sales channels.
The Software Engineer will develop, modify and maintain the company’s existing fax server products and will develop software that can be used and/or ported to multiple operating systems including Windows and Linux.
Channel Manager
The Channel Manager is tasked with identifying and pursuing channel partners to promote Biscom's fax server and file transfer channel partner program is designed to enroll value added resellers and systems integrators and convert these partners into revenue generating sales channels.
Responsibilities for the Channel Manager include identification and pursuit of new channel partners, education and development of interested partners, and conversion of interested partners into contributing sales and marketing partners.
The Channel Manager will be Biscom's company and product evangelist to the channel and will work with Biscom's sales, marketing, engineering, and finance teams to manage day to day activities in support of the channel.
Principal duties include:
- Target VARs and Systems Integrators for participation in the channel partner program
- Educate potential partners on our product lines and our channel program details
- Enroll new partners in the program
- Contribute to the design of the Channel Program, including definition of margins and required marketing resources
Our ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelors degree
- At least three years professional work experience in software sales
- Experience recruiting and managing VARs and Integrators
- Responsibility for channel revenue and forecasting
- Working knowledge of the enterprise fax server industry
- Strong verbal communication skills
The Software Engineer will develop, modify and maintain the company’s existing fax server products and will develop software that can be used and/or ported to multiple operating systems including Windows and Linux. He/she must be able to develop both non-web-based and web-based software applications. The engineer must be able to quickly understand the functionality and algorithms of exiting company software products and be able to apply that understanding to create new product functionality and new algorithms for company software products. He/she must be capable of planning and executing to check that code developed functions properly. Requires M.S. in Computer Science. Hours 40/wk, 9AM-5 PM
