Email to Fax Machine with Biscom's Hosted Fax Service
With Biscom's Hosted Fax Service, you can send faxes through your favorite email client, including Outlook, Lotus Domino, Exchange, GroupWise, and SMTP, to recipients' fax machines.
How Biscom's Email to Fax Machine Service Works
To send a fax via email, you create a new message just as you would with a traditional email. The address you use is the recipient's name and fax number at (@) faxcomanywhere.com. This addressing format works for multiple recipients, as well, including multiple fax recipients, or both fax and email recipients. That means you can send your files to a fax number at one site and send the same fax, at the same time, to another email address if one of your intended recipients does not have a fax number.
You can attach files like as would with an email. Don't worry about the file format. Many common business file types will be converted to the necessary file type automatically. (You can see a full list on our website.) You can follow the progress of your fax from your computer, as well, to ensure that it was delivered. You can also choose to receive a confirmation email or delivery failure notification.
You can also receive faxes in your email inbox sent from a traditional fax machine. These faxes show up as attached searchable PDFs. You can then forward these faxes to other email addresses, or to other fax numbers without printing a hard copy.
