Biscom Fax Solutions for Windows
Biscom's FAXCOM server solutions for Windows integrate with Outlook, Office, and Exchange, and can be controlled within the Microsoft Management Console. User permissions can be set with AD Group Policy, enabling administrators to use Active Directory with FAXCOM to specify fax users and fax user behaviors for an organization of any size.
With Windows integration, other programs can be fax-enabled to enable users to send faxes from within those programs, including production applications. Biscom's software also integrates with GE Centricity for medical and pharmaceutical companies, the Oracle E Business Suite to fax invoices, orders, and confirmations automatically, and SharePoint to enable better fax routing and workflow management without the threat of spam faxes infiltrating the system.
Biscom's software integrates with other common business software as well. You can use email programs and Web browsers to send and receive faxes with Biscom integration. Biscom's software can also be integrated, via APIs, with custom programs and production software. Users can also create custom APIs with the Biscom SDK for further integration.
The FAXCOM fax solution also fax-enables MFPs. Biscom fax servers integrate with devices from Lexmark, Sharp, HP, and Xerox. With this integration, companies can consolidate hardware needs, using the same hardware to fax, scan, print, and copy. FAXCOM server integration also enables MFP devices to receive faxes, as well as send them.
Biscom Fax Solutions for Linux
BISCOM also offers Linux solutions for businesses. Integration with Linux enables administrators to manage users and set permissions with LDAP-compatible programs. Linux users can also use the Envelope Specification API. Files are deposited by integrated applications in a folder containing the destination details. The entire folder, including all deposited files, is sent together.
