Biscom's Faxing Service Offers Offsite Fax Solutions
Biscom Hosted Fax Service uses offsite servers and the Internet to create a virtual fax system that can be scaled to any business. With Biscom's software, integrated with email programs, Web browsers, production applications, and management software, you can better control the fax workflow.
A Hosted Faxing Service that Works with Email Clients
Biscom's Hosted Fax Service enables users to send faxes via email, with their Web browser or email client. Faxes are created in the same way as emails. Users specify the fax number and name of the recipient at (@) faxcomanywhere.com in the "to" field. The fax message becomes the body of the email. Attachments can be added from any of a dozen file types. These attachments are automatically converted into the proper TIFF format for fax transmission by our servers. Faxes are then emailed to Biscom's offsite fax servers and transmitted, from there, by our fax server system.
Users also receive their faxes in their email inbox. Faxes arrive in the inbox as searchable PDFs. These received faxes can be filed, sorted, and easily searched. Faxes that need to be passed on to other recipients can be re-faxed or emailed. Users can also use a Biscom-integrated Web browser to send and receive faxes.
For better management of the faxing system and its users, Biscom offers several software integration options. Administrators can use Active Directory, for example, to manage user permissions and faxing policies. By using the same management software to control users of all office services, administrators do not have to create additional lists or permissions for fax users, and won't have to worry about removing those permissions individually if a specific user leaves the company.Read more on:
