 Biscom's FAXCOM fax software solutions integrate tightly with GE's Centricity EMR solution. One of the most common applications of this integration is the automatic faxing (from within Logician and without paper) of new and refill prescription requests to pharmacies. The integration with Centricity requires our FAXCOM Clinical Version (CV) or FAXCOM CV Plus software and a Brooktrout fax board.
FAXCOM CV
FAXCOM CV is an entry-level solution that supports two fax phone lines and outbound faxing from within the Centricity EMR application.
System Requirements

- One dedicated PCI slot
- NTFS file system
FAXCOM CV Plus
FAXCOM CV Plus supports both outbound faxing from within the Centricity EMR application, as well as many additional features, including:
- Unlimited fax phone lines
- Capability to fax-enable other applications
- Faxing from email
- Delivery of received faxes to email
- Fax archiving
- Job Tracking & Reporting
- Least Cost Routing
- Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
- Native document translation
