HD-IPFax: High Definition Faxing*
Unlike traditional fax transmission, HD-IPFax delivers high definition, full color documents. Unlike email, HD-IPFax is a secure, point to point delivery that is not susceptible to spam, viruses, spoofing, or other such problems, and there is no limit on the size of the file that can be delivered.
HD-IPFax can deliver documents direct to a user’s desktop, to color printers, and even to applications such as Biscom’s Image Indexing and Advanced Fax Routing solutions. These solutions initiate business workflows, such as mortgage processing, prescription fulfillment, and order processing, with rules based document routing and content capture via OCR and barcode recognition.
HD-IPFax is available as a client application for Windows desktops, and as a kiosk station as a substitute for conventional fax machines.
Easy 3-Step HD-IPFax Process
Step 1: User scans or attaches documents and then addresses HD-IPFax Delivery.
Step 2: The HD-IPFax Switch checks to see if the recipient is an HD-IPFax user.
Step 3: The delivery is pushed to the recipient’s HD-IPFax software, or a BDS email is sent to notify the recipient.
