BISCOM, INC. ANNOUNCES INTEROPERABILITY WITH CISCO UNITY 3.1

CHELMSFORD, MA, (April 4, 2002) - Biscom, Inc., a provider of computer-based, enterprise fax management solutions, today announced that its FAXCOM Server interoperates with Cisco Systems, Unity 3.1, the company's enterprise-class unified messaging solution. Cisco approved the FAXCOM Server's interoperability after testing it at a Cisco lab. The approval was based on a suite of tests simulating particular environments and utilized FAXCOM Server 5.0. Cisco Unity 3.1 enables employees across the enterprise to seamlessly access and manage voice, fax and email messages from any devise - desktop PC, touch-tone telephone, the Internet - from any location. Cisco Unity users can also access and forward faxes from the same common desktop applications through Biscom's FAXCOM Server.
