Chelmsford, MA – March 18, 2003 –Biscom (www.biscom.com) Biscom, a leading provider of enterprise fax management solutions, announces the release of the FAXCOM Connector for ShareScan, a new connectivity tool for the eCopy Suite. The new connector enhances the functionality of the ScanStation interface by enabling users to easily send faxes through Biscom's FAXCOM Server, at the touch of a button.
In combination with an eCopy ScanStation, the FAXCOM Connector enables users to utilize the convenience of high-speed Canon digital copiers to fax documents for distribution at network speed. Features include the ability to fax multiple copies of documents simultaneously to distribution lists, integration with FAXCOM private and public phone books and support for user-selectable cover pages.

Developers use the ShareScan Connector SDK to integrate with the eCopy Suite of products and their business process applications, thereby automating the flow of information. Now users are able to further capitalize on the convenience of high-speed digital scanners/copiers through the added functionality of faxing documents via their network.
