Chelmsford, MA – January 27, 2005 –Biscom (www.biscom.com), a leading provider of enterprise document delivery solutions, and Ultimus, a leading provider of complete business process management (BPM) and workflow automation solutions, today announced a strategic partnership to jointly market the two company’s core product offerings, the Biscom FAXCOM® Server and the Ultimus BPM Suite.
Despite the ever-increasing volume of electronic communication, many global organizations continue to rely on fax transmissions for the exchange of critical business information. With each paper-based transmission, however, there exists a corresponding need to capture the data electronically and manage the data across departments and organizations. As a result of this strategic partnership, end users are now able to combine the document delivery capabilities of the Biscom FAXCOM Server with the people-centric workflow functionality of the Ultimus BPM Suite in order to comply with government mandates and reduce process lag-time.
