Biscom to provide tight integration with Outlook in Biscom Delivery Server™
New product will provide secure document delivery for Outlook users

Chicago, IL, September 19, 2005 -Biscom announced at the ARMA show today a new version of its Biscom Delivery Server secure document delivery solution that will provide integration with Microsoft Outlook.

Biscom Delivery Server provides computer users with a highly functional, user-friendly solution for secure and auditable delivery of files and documents. Biscom Delivery Server tracks delivery, receipt, and viewing of files. Detailed reports provide statistics such as the number of downloads per month, unique users accessing files, most popular downloads, and other trend analyses.

Biscom Delivery Server overcomes the weaknesses that email, FTP, and other Web delivery methods suffer. Unlike “fire and forget” email, Biscom Delivery Server deliveries can be retracted by the sender. Also, Biscom Delivery Server maintains an audit trail of each recipient’s access to information, which the sender can review in real-time or anytime thereafter.

By integrating with Outlook, Biscom Delivery Server eliminates the shortcomings of email by giving Outlook users the ability to send documents securely. Users can schedule and expire deliveries, define notification rules, and password protect deliveries. No software other than a Web browser is required by the recipient to receive the documents.

"Biscom Delivery Server extends Biscom's established track record as a multiplatform enterprise fax solution into managed file transfer and secure document delivery," comments Peter Davidson, president and chief analyst at Davidson Consulting. "Biscom Delivery Server's API, like FAXCOM's API, makes it possible to integrate the capability into virtually any operating environment."

According to Bill Ho, Vice President of Internet Products at Biscom, “Our experience as an 19-year provider of enterprise document delivery solutions has enabled us to build a powerful solution that is easy to use for the average computer user as well as highly scalable and easy to manage for an administrator.”

Biscom Delivery Server 2.0, which adds Outlook integration, is scheduled for release on October 31, 2005. Biscom Delivery Server version 1.0, which provides a fully-functional Web-based client, is currently shipping.
