Implementing Document Workflow with FAXCOM Image Indexing
FAXCOM Image Indexing is an application for processing document images, typically as part of a business workflow, where roles are assigned to perform specific functions. In a typical workflow, document images progress from role to role based on information specified in data entry fields. In response to the data entry, Image Indexing updates the status of the image and, if specific criteria have been met, transitions the image from role to role. In addition, Image Indexing supports Alert roles, where an individual can receive a visible and audible alarm if escalation is required. Such a role enables a manager to efficiently leverage the live business process information being recorded by the Image Indexing application.

Financial Services Firm Migrates to Managed File Transfer
For Benefits Plans Incorporated, a financial services and outsourced benefits provider, rapid delivery of documents is an essential business process, with data security and regulatory compliance critical concerns. With traditional delivery methods not satisfactory for speed, security, tracking, and ease-of-use, BPI turned to Biscom Delivery Server.

Additional FAXCOM Administrator Training Class Added!
An additional FAXCOM Administrator Training Class has been added for October 29-30 at Biscom’s Chelmsford, MA facility. This is a lab-based training session that covers installing, configuring, and maintaining FAXCOM solution components such as the FAXCOM Fax Server, including the FAXCOM Server software and Brooktrout fax boards; user and application faxing with FAXCOM Suite for Windows’ Outlook, SMTP email, FAXCOM Client, FAXCOM Web Client, and Application Programming Interfaces; administration of FAXCOM Suite via an MMC snap-in; user management via AD and LDAP; and creating fax workflows with Advanced Fax Routing and FAXCOM Image Indexing.
