Biscom Announces Fax Server Integration with Sharp OSAT-enabled MFPs

Biscom has announced the release of its validated Sharp OSA Integration Module, FAXCOM Suite 9.4.4.0, that connects the FAXCOM Server product line with Sharp OSA-enabled MFPs. This integration enables Sharp OSA-enabled MFP users to scan and fax paper documents from the MFP through a network fax server.

The FAXCOM Suite 9.4.4.0 release enables customers to:

  • Scan paper documents and send to a fax recipient from any Sharp OSA-enabled MFP
  • Enable user authentication via Active Directory, LDAP, email, or local user list
  • Create and manage multiple cover pages
  • Administer user permissions for fax priority and fax scheduling
  • Track, store, and report on all fax activity in a searchable database

FAXCOM Suite 9.4.4.0 users will lower their operational costs by connecting Sharp OSA™-enabled MFPs with Biscom’s FAXCOM Server solution. The FAXCOM Server provides a centralized network resource for sending, receiving, and tracking faxes electronically. This is more cost effective than implementing phone lines to individual MFP devices, and offers users and administrators a much broader feature set.
