Advanced Document Routing
Implementing business rules to automate document routing to users and applications helps organizations improve common business processes such as mortgage applications, prescription fulfillment, and purchase orders. Biscom's Advanced Document Routing application can be used to identify document types via OCR and barcode recognition, query external sources for additional data or routing details, split files into multiple deliveries, reformat deliveries in new file formats and with new files names, and complete delivery to users, applications, and network locations. For example, implementing these automated steps in a mortgage processing workflow results in more loan applications processed per day, with employees focused on higher level tasks in the workflow, and a substantial process improvement. Archived Presentation: Virtualized Fax Deployment Integrated with VoIP
Biscom's FAXCOM Fax Server solution can be implemented in a virtual environment without any hardware at all by integrating fax with your Voice over IP network. Fax over IP, using the T.38 protocol, leverages the VoIP architecture to fax enable users and applications without requiring fax boards. VoIP gateways become off-ramps to the phone network for sending and receiving faxes. For companies that have not yet implemented VoIP, Biscom offers IP media gateways that connect to the phone network and provide a bridge to an eventual VoIP implementation.
