With this new alliance, Westbrook will distribute the Fortis FaxIt connector which integrates inbound and outbound fax delivery with enterprise document management.

Fortis FaxIt leverages the robust capabilities of Biscom's FAXCOM fax server solution with Westbrook's Fortis product suite. Fortis FaxIt utilizes FAXCOM's Advanced Fax Routing rules engine to dynamically read unstructured data from fax images via OCR or barcode, apply business rules, and route documents. FaxIt uses the extracted data to classify fax images and then index and route them appropriately within Fortis.
