Chelmsford, MA –January 10, 2008–Biscom (www.biscom.com) a leading provider of enterprise secure document delivery solutions, announced Microsoft SQL Server support and advanced Group Delivery features to expand its leadership position in the enterprise managed file transfer solutions market. As the next generation solution for companies trying to replace FTP and solve email attachment management issues, Biscom Delivery Server eliminates email bottlenecks, improves security for transmitting critical information, and reduces IT management and costs.
Several significant features have been added to this latest release. Groups provide a way to quickly and easily deliver files to multiple recipients. Groups also facilitate security and access management through better control over deliveries and files.
The Biscom Delivery Manager desktop client has also been updated to include support for delivering packages directly from the client. The desktop client runs as a standalone application that manages users’ packages, is useful for transferring multi-gigabyte files, and supports automatic resume after a network or power failure.
