Biscom Announces Fax Server and Fax Service Integration with Canon imageFORMULA ScanFront 220 and 220PChelmsford, MA - June 2, 2008 – Biscom Inc. today announced integration of its FAXCOM Server and FAXCOM Anywhere fax solutions with Canon’s imageFORMULA ScanFront 220 and 220P network scanning devices. This integration enables ScanFront 220/220P users to fax paper documents through Biscom’s network fax server solution or through Biscom’s hosted fax service. The imageFORMULA ScanFront 220 and 220P expand productivity even further, taking Canon’s document scanners to a new class of their own, in terms of scanning innovation and workflow efficiency. These sleek, extremely compact standalone units can plug directly into an office network to deliver direct scanning and sending. The imageFORMULA ScanFront 220 and 220P offer state-of-the-art imaging technology and a user-friendly interface with full touch-screen convenience. Canon’s imageFORMULA ScanFront 220 and 220P are color duplex network scanners featuring a large 8.5 inch color touch screen, capable of fast, high quality scanning up to 26 pages per minute. These devices scan directly to e-mail, FTP, shared-folders, and USB memory. Users can choose from personal, shared and even LDAP address books and customize up to 1056 Job Buttons. Biscom’s FAXCOM Server product line provides organizations with a centralized network application for sending and receiving faxes, eliminating the need for standalone paper fax machines and the costs of adding phone lines and fax modems to scanners and multi-function devices.
