Chelmsford, MA – August 31, 2011 –Interbit Data, a leading provider of software and services connecting people and information for more efficient healthcare, and Biscom, a leading provider of enterprise fax software, today announced a technology partnership. Integrating NetDelivery and NetFax, Interbit Data’s information distribution software products, with Biscom’s Enterprise Fax solution, the companies are providing their healthcare customers with broadened capabilities for automated data and report distribution from the MEDITECH healthcare information system (HCIS) to physicians’ groups and other clinicians across their facilities.
With Interbit Data’s NetDelivery and NetFax, Biscom’s Enterprise Fax users will be able to quickly and easily receive and send patient and medical information from the MEDITECH HCIS. By integrating Biscom’s fax technology, Interbit Data provides its customers with the ability to send outgoing faxes from automated workflows and intelligently route incoming faxes using information extracted from the fax images. Faxing can now be done on a virtual server with no need for fax modems cards.
