Print/Director from Solimar Systems is software that combines with a FAXCOM fax server to enable enhancing the FAXCOM fax gateway with print stream conversion capabilities. Print/Director takes the incoming print stream, converts it into CCITT3, and then automatically passes it through to the fax gateway.

The Base System software of the Solimar Print/Director is a series of unique and integrated modules that work together to provide sophisticated print control and job management. Base includes standard core features that all system modules are built upon. This core system includes basic input, emulation, output, and specialized utility modules that provide a powerful GUI queue/spool print management system.

The connectivity, printer emulation and utility modules of the Solimar Print/Director can be used in various combinations to provide additional file transforms and data stream conversions. Utility modules provide special functionality for job management and enhancement.
