HD-IP Fax – High Definition Internet Protocol Fax is a fast, low-cost and secure method of sending and receiving high-resolution full-color and black and white images and documents directly from one location to another; directing business documents from your customers, partners and suppliers into your business workflows and document repositories. HD-IP Fax is implemented entirely in software. HD-IP Fax overcomes many of the limitations of email or hand delivery and takes fax to a new level:
- Traditional fax may not provide sufficient image quality.
- Many people are unaware that email is neither secure nor direct. Its use in certain workflows may put an organization at risk of non-compliance with state or federal privacy regulations, and email may also transmit viruses and other malware.
- Mail, courier, and hand delivery are expensive and the information is not in an electronic form upon arrival, making it difficult to use, forcing a costly, labor-intensive internal scanning process.
- Fast transmission speed
- Encryption and security
- Reduces costs
- Remote scanning of documents into enterprise applications
- Capture and transmission of metadata with documents
- An easily downloadable application for remote senders and receivers
- Built-in viewing with image enhancement capabilities
- Integration with or embedded in office machines, e.g. Multi-Function Printers (MFPs)
- High-definition and color
- Provides APIs to route High-Definition image documents with metadata into enterprise’s workflow
- Provides both enterprise and hosted solutions
