TeleFax from Transaction Innovation Corporation (TIC) is software that combines with a FAXCOM fax server to enable faxes to be sent automatically or on demand from applications running on Tandem systems (now a division of Compaq). The TeleFax application is used by medical labs to report test results, by banks to confirm cash transfers, by hotels to confirm reservations made by travel agents, and by consumer credit companies to report results of credit checks. In other words, the TeleFax application -- in combination with a FAXCOM server -- is used in business-critical, high-volume transaction processing environments where non-stop performance is a must.

Biscom and TIC have been business partners since 1988, jointly developing fax solutions for the companies whose non-stop applications require a highly reliable, high throughput fax server.
