Biscom has been addressing Network
Fax Server and Fax Software Solutions since 1986. Biscom's Network Fax
Applications provide fax functionality to your users without requiring email
integration. These applications make it easy for network users to send, receive,
and track faxes from their desktop.
The FAXCOM
Client is a desktop application that enables network
users to send, receive, and track faxes. The FAXCOM Client
is a folder based application with a Send Fax dialogue, a
Pending Queue, a log of fax activity, and sent and received
fax folders. Network users send faxes by launching the Send
Fax dialogue from the FAXCOM Client toolbar, or by printing
an application to the Biscom Fax Printer. The FAXCOM Client
includes public and private phone books, delivery scheduling
and priority assignment.
The FAXCOM Client provides advanced functionality useful in integrating fax
with workflow applications. The shared received fax folders allow multiple
network users to access the same store of received faxes, processing these
in the order in which they arrive.
The Web
Client provides similar functionality to the FAXCOM Client, although it
is installed as a browser-based application, rather than as a desktop application.
Users log in to a Web page with a user name and password, and are able to send,
receive, and track faxes via a browser version of the FAXCOM Client.
The FAXCOM Client and Web Client can be implemented on a Windows network through FAXCOM
Suite for Windows or
on a Novell network through FAXCOM
for NDS.
FAXCOM
Lite
is an entry-level version of the FAXCOM Client, providing
basic fax capabilities in a low cost solution.
