Secure Workspace for Collaboration
For confidential team projects, a secure electronic workspace where people can collaborate, share files, and enter discussions can increase your team's productivity. Rather than trying to track down email threads, BDS provides a single place to share your files, create discussions, and track activity.
Sharing Files
Sharing files in a collaborative workspace is easy. Drag and drop your files into the workspace, and control access and capabilities by assigning users as workspace managers, collaborators, and viewers. Managers have full access to the workspace and can invite others to collaborate. Collaborators can upload and download files, and leave comments. Viewers have read-only access and cannot leave comments.
Notification
All activity within the workspace is logged, so you can see how each member is contributing to the project. You choose the activities that will trigger an email notification letting you know, for example, when a new file was added to the workspace, when a file was downloaded, or when a user has left a comment. Each workspace can have its own custom notification options.
Discussions and Comments
Leave comments within the workspace, so you can quickly inform the entire team of new information, meta-data for files, and other project data.
