Biscom tends to retain team members, with average tenures of over ten years. Donna Watson, one of our Senior Account Managers, is no exception having been with Biscom for 20 years. When she isn’t helping customers find the right secure document delivery solution, answering product questions, setting up demonstrations, or coordinating with our technical team you can find Donna on the open road.
Donna and her husband have embraced their love of camping by purchasing an RV. Since their purchase, they have traveled around New England, New York, and Ohio with a cross-country trip in the near future. Along with Donna’s love of the outdoors, she has a knack for photography. She even creates calendars filled with her photos to give out to family members.
It wouldn’t surprise anyone to hear that Donna is a huge HGTV fan and DIY addict. She loves watching Flea Market Flip and Fixer Upper and is sad that it’s going off the air. In fact, Donna was one of the first employees to decorate her office when it came time for an internal holiday decorating contest. I think we all know where she found her inspiration.
Donna shared that the most enjoyable part of her role here at Biscom is talking with people and listening to how important faxing is to them. “In this day and age everyone thinks fax is going away but it’s such an important part of the way people communicate and send information, especially in healthcare.”
A theme ever-present in Donna’s life is her love for people. It started with her first job as a Denny’s restaurant manager after college; she learned early on that the customer is the most important person in the restaurant. She has taken that to heart and carried it through each role she has taken on.
If you were to ask anyone about the three traits that define Donna, they would unanimously tell you she is helpful, optimistic, and focused. Donna is a staunch believer in karma – what goes around, comes around. Keep your circle positive, think good thoughts, and do good deeds. On that note, we wish everyone a great holiday season and a happy and healthy New Year.
