Meet Charlie Magliato Biscom’s Vice President of Channel Sales. Charlie has been with Biscom for almost 10 years, helping to build the Biscom brand and reach through building reseller and partner relationships. Sounds easy, right? Well, Charlie definitely makes it look that way. In reality, Charlie’s day is nothing but easy. Between recruiting, managing, training, providing pre- and post-sales support, and attending conferences, Charlie has the reseller channel running on a tight schedule. Charlie isn’t daunted by his role, in fact, his favorite thing is “working with and developing business and personal relationships with our partners, resellers, and dealers”.
Charlie also enjoys wearing many hats with his role as the VP of Channel Sales, including opportunities to get on the road, provide sales tools to the resellers, meeting with reseller and dealer principals and sales teams to promote the Biscom brand, and so much more. If you ask around, people would undoubtedly tell you the three traits that best describe Charlie are, perseverance, responsiveness, and his willingness to take risks.
When he’s not juggling many hats, Charlie enjoys spending time at one of the most scenic beaches on the east coast, just five miles from his house. You might also find him golfing or in the North End of Boston, where the Italian food is the best.
If Charlie had his way, he would be first in line to buy a flying car. It sure would help his hour long commute to the office. While he waits for those flying cars he can catch re-runs of his favorite show, Seinfeld.
