Multifunction Peripherals (MFP) Integration
Biscom’s fax server and hosted fax service integrates with Multifunction Peripherals (MFPs) from a range of vendors – Kyocera, Samsung, HP, Xerox, Sharp, e-Copy, NSi AutoStore, Ricoh, and Lexmark – to enable network users to send faxes as easily as they make copies.
Since one MFP can replace multiple traditional copying/printing/scanning devices, their use in corporate environments has become more and more widespread. By consolidating multiple functions in one device, integrating MFPs with a centralized FAXCOM server, businesses can save valuable time, resources, and office space.
MFP Fax Connectors
KYOCERA’S AccuSender Fax is an interface which enables users to send scanned documents as faxes directly from a KYOCERA MFP. AccuSender Fax works with on-premises FAXCOM servers or Biscom’s FAXCOM Anywhere hosted office and enterprise cloud fax services.
Sending faxes from Lexmark MFPs through the FAXCOM server, rather than through a dedicated phone line, optimizes your telecommunications infrastructure by eliminating the need to install additional phone lines.
NSi AutoStore enables direct integration with MFPs to provide secure outbound faxing capabilities through the FAXCOM Suite software. The FAXCOM Suite software integrates with both on premise FAXCOM servers and the Biscom hosted enterprise fax service.
Ricoh Globalscan Server NX2.x or later integrates with FAXCOM Suite version 10.x.
ShareScan / eCopy
FAXCOM® for ShareScan integrates with eCopy™ ShareScan® Open Platform (OP) software to support fax capabilities on a range of digital copiers and scanners, including Canon, Fujitsu, HP, Océ, Ricoh, Sharp, and Toshiba products.
Xerox EIP MFPs
FAXCOM for Xerox Extensible Interface Platform (EIP) integrates with Xerox -enabled devices. Xerox EIP is a software platform upon which developers can use standard web-based tools to create applications configurable for the MFP’s touch-screen user interface.
Installing the HP Digital Sending Software (DSS) 4.0 or higher on HP MFPs and Digital Senders eliminates the requirement for fax senders to use the SMTP addressing syntax when sending faxes from those devices. When HP DSS is installed on the device, users need to specify only the destination fax number.
The Biscom MFP Fax Connector integrates with Sharp Open System Architecture (OSA®) technology to support fax capabilities on all Sharp MX Series MFPs.
Xerox Network Fax Server
FAXCOM for Xerox integrates with the Xerox Network Fax Server Integration option to support fax capabilities on Xerox WorkCentre and Document Centre MFPs.
The Biscom Fax App for Samsung UX is an interface which enables users to send scanned documents as faxes directly from a Samsung UX MFP as well as view received faxes and status of sent faxes. Biscom Fax App for Samsung UX works with on-premises FAXCOM servers or Biscom’s FAXCOM Anywhere hosted office and enterprise cloud fax services.
