Improved messaging system mirrors popular email clients to make security as simple as clicking send
Today, Biscom, the leader in secure communications for regulated industries, announced SFT 5.1, the latest version of its secure file transfer (SFT) solution. The release includes an entirely new secure messaging platform, helping users send secure messages and files.
The messaging architecture enhancements to SFT give the new version a more intuitive user experience and enhanced functionality. Specific enhancements include HTML formatting support, and the ability to add logos and graphics to signatures. The release also gives users the ability to easily and securely reply and maintain a secure communication channel with both messages and files. This provides users with the familiarities of email along with the security and file attachment handling of SFT.
“SFT 5.1 introduces an entirely new level of ease of use especially around secure email,” said Bill Ho, CEO of Biscom. “We’ve greatly improved the messaging capabilities and in many cases can replace existing secure email solutions with SFT, which has the additional benefit of allowing you to attach files of unlimited size.”
Today, SFT 5.1 allows users greater visibility into the files and messages they are sending and receiving. With the ability to track and manage who has received and downloaded files, SFT 5.1 is a trusted tool for secure messaging and file sharing. This enterprise application easily integrates with major systems such as Microsoft Outlook and SharePoint, and meets the highest encryption standards for protecting confidential information.
The new version of SFT is immediately available to all existing SFT customers.
