Happy New Year From Biscom

2018 has been an interesting year in so many ways – some good, some not so good. All 12 Thai boys were rescued from the cave, NASA’s InSight Lander successfully reached Mars, and the Red Sox won the World Series again (some of you may not consider that good news). But the level of uncertainty has also reached a new high water mark – from politics and #MeToo to the financial markets; from fires, floods, and other disasters to customer data scandals. Throughout all of this, the one thing that has remained constant is Biscom’s dedication to its customers. Here are a few highlights from Biscom over the last twelve months:

Our new Enterprise Fax Management (EFM) tool has wowed many of our customers by providing a comprehensive way to view, manage, and track complex deployments in real time. Many of our fax customers have very large implementations that can span thousands of fax ports, tens of thousands of users, be geographically dispersed, with hybrid cloud and server components – and we now have a way to centralize the management and control of all of this in a single utility. This is better than Ambien.

We made a major leap forward in our secure messaging services and launched Biscom Transit – a true cloud platform that incorporates secure email and large file sharing with tight integration with cloud storage services like Dropbox, granular transaction logging, notifications, and analytics. In 2019 we will be adding on more enterprise features, including integration with Microsoft Active Directory and Outlook, file synchronization, and fax. Make 2019 the year you up your game, stop emailing sensitive information, and start sharing email and files securely. Transit is just as easy as email but safe, scalable, and built on a multi-tenant platform with full REST API support.

In 2019 we’ll also be releasing a major update to our fax web client – fully revamped with a slicker user experience. My favorite features are the ability to preview cover pages, a more intuitive way to add recipients, multiple message templates, real time updates, and in-app notifications. The user experience is completely new with an interface that streamlines common tasks resulting in accomplishing your job with significantly fewer mouse clicks. Your users will appreciate the new interface and capabilities, and your IT team will enjoy the easier deployment, upgrading, and provisioning.

Again, all of this would not be possible without the support of our customers. I’ve had the pleasure of traveling and meeting many of you this year, and I always bring back great feedback and kudos to our team. When I relate how our customers depend on us in their mission critical business needs, it reinforces the importance of what they do and the positive impact they make on the world. Our winning formula is actually pretty simple – treat our customers well, be responsive, and build the best solutions and services possible.

Amid all the noise and turmoil, we at Biscom are focused on continuing to innovate and exceeding our customers’ expectations, and welcome any and all feedback. I hope to hear from you – with both positive notes as well as suggestions on how we can be better. It’s truly a privilege to lead our fantastic team and serve our remarkable customers. Thank you for your continued support and wishing you all a happy and healthy 2019.

Regards,
Bill Ho
