Earlier this month we kicked off the start of our fiscal year 2018 with our annual company outing at Kimball Farm. We came together to enjoy the wonderful weather, eat some great BBQ, indulge in some amazing homemade ice cream, and, most importantly, discuss our goals and vision for the year ahead. We’re excited to share the news of upcoming features and new products coming in the next twelve months. (Keep an eye on the blog and our newsletter as we start to share these announcements in the next few months.)
The day was also bittersweet as we said goodbye to Neal McCann and wished him well in his retirement. Neal joined Biscom as our first sales person (and jack of all trades) and has been a part of Biscom for 30 years. We already miss him around the office.
Since our staff always strives to excel, you might not be surprised that some of us have competitive natures. We put these to the test in good New England fashion with the annual “Biscom Cornhole Tournament”. You cannot kick off a new year in the summer time without a rousing game of cornhole!
After the speeches, the food, and the cornhole, we indulged in the activities at Kimball Farms. We enjoyed the zipline, tried not to ruin friendships over mini-golf, honed our swings at the driving range, and enjoyed the arcade. The best part? Bumper boats! It’s one of the few times you can actively attack your coworkers, with the only consequence being getting wet. It was a great way to kick off our business year and we look forward to another year of delivering great Biscom secure document solutions and support.
