FoIP, virtual fax server and Fax Server for Windows are compatible with key Avaya unified communications solutions.

Biscom, Inc., a leader in secure document delivery, today announced that its FAXCOM fax servers are compliant with key unified communications solutions from Avaya, a global provider of business collaboration and communication software and services.

Biscom’s FAXCOM fax servers support enterprise document delivery via fax, email, and Internet, handling all aspects of document workflow. The solution is now compliance-tested by Avaya for compatibility with Avaya Aura® Communication Manager 6.3.

“Many of our clients use Avaya solutions within their telephony infrastructure. Biscom participated in this testing process to ensure that those customers have flawless interactions when using FAXCOM in conjunction with Avaya products,” said John Lane, vice president of Support and Services, Biscom. “This affirms our commitment to providing our clients with top notch product innovation and a high quality user experience.”

Biscom is a Technology Partner in the Avaya DevConnect program—an initiative to develop, market and sell innovative third-party products that interoperate with Avaya technology and extend the value of a company’s investment in its network. “Technology Partners like Biscom understand how to bring value to companies that need to securely exchange important information electronically, like patient records, and financial and legal documents,” said Eric Rossman, vice president, Developer Relations, Avaya. “By achieving this compliance, companies that run Avaya Aura Communication Manager can deploy Biscom FAXCOM with confidence.”

As a Technology Partner, Biscom is eligible to submit products for compliance testing by the Avaya Solution Interoperability and Test Lab. There, a team of Avaya engineers develops a comprehensive test plan for each application to verify whether it is Avaya compatible. Doing so enables businesses to confidently add best-in-class capabilities to their network without having to replace their existing infrastructure—speeding deployment of new applications and reducing both network complexity and implementation costs.
